x. I woke up on this side, I thought it was a dream
xx. The whisperings of the ocean's wave peacefully filled the air. Somewhere a long the coast of Atlanta Ocean sat a teenager girl, about seventeen it seemed like. Her skin was pale like snow, her eyes was in the hue of dark brown. Her cheekbones were very prominant, her lips thick and covered in a thin coat of faint pink lip gloss. This girl was sitting in the postition where he knees was tucked into her chest. Her arms wrapped around the legs. This girl was wearing a loose airy white shirt with some random logo on it along with light blue jean shorts, showing off her bare legs.
xx. The sun's rays shone down into the tan and golden sand, highlighting it with sparkles. This girl, Lindsey Xavier, was all alone. This was restricted area to humans, but this girl isn't a human, is she? Lindsey is a techno-organic, a mix of a transformer and a mix of human DNA combined. Giving Lindsey super-strength, just enough to bend a metal pole in half. Lindsey's father was a legacy, known as Jetfire, who just turned out to be a grumpy old transformer. Well in truth, Lindsey was waiting for results to see if Jetfire was really her father or not. Lindsey continued to stare into the distance of the horizon.

An SR71-Blackbird jet anywhere nowadays was almost purely fiction, with the exception of Jetfire. As far as he knew, he was the only model still in working condition after so long . He was also returning with the result of the circuit test, making sure that Lindsay was his daughter.
Not that he didn't believe her, but because he could never remember requesting a protoform made for him.
He transformed above the beach, and landed a bit heavier than he would have liked, causing a good bit of pain in his hip, and made his way over to the girl sitting on the beach. "Well, I've got the results back." Jetfire said, leaning both hands on his cane and looked out over the ocean, not really liking the salt; Salt air corroded his joints. "And it came back positive; you ARE my daughter."

x. At first, we learned to walk then learned to scream
xx.Lindsey looked up to see Jetfire in sight as a SR71 Blackbird jet. Lindsey smiled faintly, the results were coming back and Lindsey was nervous to hear about the results. Lindsey sat there quietly until Jetfire landed on the shore heavily. Lindsey got up to her feet, wipeing the sand of her shorts and legs. Then her dark eyes looked up to Jetfire. Lindsey's hears picked up these words: "Well, I've got the results back, "And it came back positive; you ARE my daughter."
xx. Lindsey couldn't help but smile, finally, now the father she has is a transformer not some abusive drunk idiotic father. Lindsey felt no other emotions beside happiness, that she felt like her head was in the clouds. Which was true now that her feet are literally of the ground. Lindsey could no longer feel the sand on her feet anymore. Lindsey looked down to see that she was litterally hovering.
xx. "Ahhh!!! Get me on the ground!" yelled Lindsey, freaking out now. She fell to the ground, landing painfully on her butt. "Ow..." muttered Lindsey. How i nthe world is she hovering? Lindsey knew that she would probably never use that ability ever again. She hates flying, she hates heights. Why her? Why can't she get an abilty other than this?

Jetfire laughed, and crouched down to see a bit better. "Well, not I'm positive we're related!" He said happily "Flight's a must-have ability--So far as I know, I'm the only Autobot that can fly. Oh...But you're scared of heights, aren't you?"
Jetfire mulled this over for a few minutes, then came up with a possible solution. "I used to be afraid of heights myself, back when I was a young bot. Do you think you could hover like that again? Don't worry; if you start to fall, I'll catch you."

x. You can't understand when you're fed from a TV screen
xx. Lindsey looked at Jetfore, now she was certain that she was related to Jetfire. But why Lindsey does to have this abiltiy? She kept on questioning herself this over and over again. Lindsey nodded why Jetfire asked her that she was deathly afraid of heights. Lindsey didn't think it was all that funny when Jetfire laughed eariler at her misfortune.
xx. Lindsey kept quiet as Jetfire mulled over his thoughts for a moment. Jetfire? Afraid of hieghts? Pfffttt. That's impossible, look at him, he's a lecacy. Lindsey thought to herself, almost not believeing Jetfire. Lindsey stood up onto her feet, and shrugged as Jetfire asked her if she could ever hover like that again. Lindsey closed her eyes, tried to hover. But she failed, of course she would fail on the first try. Then her mind suddenly thought of Jetfire's good news with the results, Lindsey became happy inside, then her feet started to rise of the ground, a little higher than before. Lindsey floated there in mid-air. Opening her eyes, she nearly freaked out but managed to overcome that and remained there floating.

Jetfire smiled, and put his hand underneath her, ready to catch her. "You're doing great. Take it in small steps; you'll get the hang of it." He encouraged her. This reminded him of his days in training, many millenia ago. He'd gone through the same process.
He remembered his twin brother, Jetstorm, and their competition to fly higher than the other, and both had ended up crashing into the rest of the recruits in doing so. It was this rivalry with his brother that helped Jetfire to overcome his fear of heights, and the thought of where his twin had disappeared to came to his mind, until he shook off his old memories and focused on the time at hand.

xx. Lindsey's heart was panicing at this very moment. What if she gets to far up into that sky that she can't breathe anymore? What if she fell to her death at 1,000 feet? Many things could happen. Lindsey looked up at her father, Jetfire. She smiled weakly. Not sure of what to do now. But then he encouraged her. Which helped Lindsey a little bit. Taking it small steps, she hovered to a higher height. Then she wobbled, nearly losing the grips of her new found ability. But she managed to stay a float still. Then she really did lose the grip of her ability. Falling down into Jetfire's hand, landing safely.

Jetfire smiled down at his daughter, practically beaming with pride. "That's good, very good for your size. Just take it in small steps each day, you'll get the hang of it." Jetfire encouraged her, setting her down on the sand as gently as possible.
"Well now, I don't want to be too unknowing about my own daughter; so tell me about yourself. What things do you like, how did your foster family treat you...things like that."

xx. Lindsey's cheeks turned red, she was blushing to a shade of bright red. Apparently embrassed at this moment, Lindsey was very human from the looks of it, but she was so different. Lindsey smiled faintly, her bottom throbing with dull pain from the falls now. Finally she was set in the sand gently as possible. Lindsey looked up at Jetfire.
xx. Lindsey's red face soon began to fade back into her pale skin. Then her faint smiling face faded into a troubled face. When Jetfire mentioned about her adopted family. "My foster family... I lived with them ever since I was five... and ever since my adopted father started drinking, he would beat me up often and my foster mother too." said Lindsey, her voice was quiet.
xx. "But one day, I decided to fight back, and I nearly put him in the hospital... That was when my family and I found that I was different. So I began to search for answers and the answer led me to you." said Lindsey. "He still beats me up. but not as much he used too... I deal with it mostly. Just one more year and I'll be free of the family." said Lindsey, she looked up, hoping not to worry Jetfire that much. She bit her lips.

Jetfire shook his head, and said something to himself quietly. "That's a shame. I wonder what they would think if they knew they'd abused the daughter of the legendary Jetfire? I get the feeling it would probably be something around the means of 'We're going to get stepped on' or something like that."
He shook his head again, and waved off his frustration. "So, tell me more about yourself. I don't really know much else about you, other than what you've told me so far."

xx. Lindsey looked off into the distance, she knew her family wasn't the best family in the world but family's family. Lindsey smiled faintly when Jetfire began to say something to himself quietly. Lindsey's adopted family doesn;t know anything about transformers, but they do know that Lindsey is different. Only her little brother had accepted the fact that Lindsey is different.
xx. Lindsey began to think of things that she had done. "Well, I used to be in track, I ran 100 meters dash, broke the school's record but then I quit. I don't know why... Umm... I used to visist you everyday at that museum ever since I found out that you were my father." siad Lindsey, letting out a small embrassed chuckle. "My life isn't that exciting, I don't know what else I can say about my life." said Lindsey, her cheeks turning to a shade of faint pink.

Jetfire gave a little chuckle when Lindey said her life wasn't interesting. "Of course it's interesting! It might not seem that way to you, but I like to know these things. I'm your father, after all, I want to know what I can do to make you happy."
"So that was you, was it? I thought I felt something outside of my alt mode. Like something was begging for me to wake up. I thought I'd just hit my processor a bit harder than I thought on my arrival for a little while. But I'll have to admit I'm glad it wasn't; and hank you for visiting me all those times. From what I understand, those museum men forced people to pay to see old things. Nothing like that back on Cybertron; you could walk into any historical site you wanted to free of charge."
